What truly matters is the end result — having a clear plan for your life — and just as importantly, the process of creating that plan. This app is simply a tool to support that work and make the process easier to repeat and maintain. Nothing more.
For over 15 years, I did this using nothing more than a Google document, and it worked just fine. My hope is not that you love this application — or even use it at all. My hope is that you walk away understanding how valuable it is to have a plan, and to take the time to thoughtfully create one.
Whether you use this app or another method is far less important than doing the work itself.
Defining a meaningful plan is not something that can be done in a few minutes or even a couple of hours. It is a process — and really, a journey.
When I first started, it took me about a year and a half before I felt my plan was “good enough.” And even now, many years later, I continue to make changes.
Life evolves. Circumstances change. Roles shift. Expectations grow or fade. Because of that, I don’t believe this work is ever truly finished.
Personally, I review my plan at least once a quarter to update goal progress, reflect on what has changed, and keep it fresh in my mind. In the beginning, I reviewed it monthly. The cadence may change over time, but the habit remains.
This isn’t about software. It’s about having a compass — something that helps you live more intentionally, focused on what truly matters and the people who matter most.
If you’re new here, start simple: write your Mission, create a few Roles, and define what success looks like in each one. You don’t have to get it perfect — you just have to begin.
If you choose to use this application, I sincerely hope it is as beneficial for you as this process has been for me.
If you have any feedback, ideas, or thoughts to share, I would genuinely love to hear from you.

Thank you for being here.
Compass is private by design — your plan and reflections are yours.
